Adamawa Politician Reportedly Awards 1,000 Naira Scholarship to His Constituents

In recent news Nigerian Afrobeat Legend, Femi Kuti and his son, Made, have been nominated for the 64th Grammy awards scheduled to hold on January 31, 2022. He is nominated alongside Rocky Dawuni, Daniel Ho & Friends, Angelique Kidjo, Femi Kuti & Made Kuti. This has generated mixed reactions online as netizens question how the meagre amount would subsidize the students’ education. Meanwhile For the second time, Wizkid is nominated in the Grammy Awards.

Pictures of the politician presenting N1000 notes to some recipients said to be students of FCE, Yola, is currently making rounds on social media. Alleged politician in Adamawa state has been dragged online after he allegedly awarded 1,000 Naira scholarship to his constituents. They will contest against fellow Nigerian, Burna Boy who won the Global Music Album in 2020.
